Newborn baby girl pictures of Miss J

Hello everybody

Here are some newborn baby girl pictures of Miss J. She was 12 days old when she was photographed at my Derby newborn studio.

Very young children up to 14 days old have deep and long sleeps and my little model was not an exception. Miss J let me wrap her in various fabrics, put head band and other cute accessories which I’ve got in my studio. As for colour theme, we decided to have various bright colours, like red, pink or yellow, in combination with neutral brown background.

I enjoyed this photo shoot and it looks my little model too 🙂 Look forward to photographing you at your six plus photo session!

Newborn baby images of Miss M

Hi everybody

Two years ago I photographed a wedding of a lovely couple, Emma and Andrew. In this post, I’m very pleased to present some newborn baby images of their daughter, Miss M.

From the very beginning of the photo shoot Miss M was very curious about what is going on. When she did not sleep, she would look around – see the top image for this curious look 🙂 I also took a picture with a little teddy bear which Emma and Andrew brought for the shoot; such photographs, with first toys, would be treasured forever! The other newborn baby images in this post were taken with different colours and outfit to add to the variety of the photographs. At the end I photographed Andrew with her little daughter – I love photographing parents with their little babies!

Emma and Andrew, it was lovely to see you back and pleasure to photograph your beautiful daughter!

Newborn Photography Safety 101 – 5 Tips to Ensure your Baby is Safe on Camera

As an experienced newborn photographer and a mum myself, I know how important safety is whenever you mix babies, heavy equipment and unfamiliar locales. I speak to countless new parents who blanche with apprehension at the idea of taking their sweet new wee one out of the little nest that they have built in their own safe home – in fact, my Derbyshire studio is often one of the very first outings that a family makes, in order to capture those first few precious weeks!

Mr L by Newborn photography studio Derby

Hi everybody!

I’m pleased to present a new set of newborn images by my newborn photography studio in Derby. Today are the photos of Mr L, a handsome little boy who was born just 7 days before the session. I was especially glad to photograph him as I know his parents for long time now, since 2012 when I photographed their wedding. I also photographed his older brother, Mr E, 2 years ago.

Like his older brother, Mr L slept very well, giving me opportunity to capture his smiles and funny faces. Before the shoot we discussed the colour theme with his parents and they suggested to have green and blue, similar to the colours of his room. I chose combination of brown, green and blue out of my props.

Quite often I take pictures with parents; one of these is also in the list below.

I really enjoyed photographing Mr L, hope you will enjoy the pictures too 🙂

Award winning baby photographer 2014

I’m very excited to say that the second year in row I have won the MPA East Midlands competition in Portrait of under 5s category and proud to be an award winning baby photographer 2014. This follows the success of last year’s competition.

Master Photographers Association, UK organisation of professional photographers, hold its annual East Midlands awards competition every year. This year I took a part with some of my favourite newborn and baby photographs and some wedding fashion shots. Apart from the three of my photographs that became the winners, two other images had an award of excellence and five had merit recognitions.

I’d like to say thank you to all my little models and their parents, as well as to the wedding couples and models, for giving me this opportunity to create beautiful artistic pictures and to everyone supporting me through this year.

Newborn photographer Derby – Oliver’s photos

Hi everybody!

Back in 2012 I photographed wedding of Becky and Alex. You can imagine how pleased I was when Becky emailed me to ask to photograph their newborn baby boy Oliver.

Oliver is a lovely little boy. He was very positive during his first ever newborn photo shoot, even smiled to me 🙂 (see the photo). We’ve also decided to weigh him using my special vintage scales, just for a record:) As usually, for my boutique baby photography sessions, I used knitted hats, baskets and other carefully selected and themed accessories from my photography props collection.

It was a pleasure to photograph Oliver; look forward to seeing him soon for his 6 plus session!
