Photos of Mr G at newborn photography studio Derby

Hi everyone

Here are some new photographs at our newborn photography studio Derby. Mr G, a little model at these pictures, was nearly one month old. It was unusual, as I tend to photograph babies before they reach the age of 2 weeks. The problem with photographing babies over 14 days old is often that they become more active, less sleepy and more hungry 🙂 But this was not the case at this photo shoot.

At the beginning Mr G was not asleep at all. He was observing the world quietly letting me to take few pictures of him looking around and smiling. After a while he fell asleep and that was good time to do something more creative, e.g. to put a tie or hat on him 🙂 We used different colour themes to give a variety to the photographs.

Mr G’s parents adore his little boy and really wanted to have few family photographs with him. We did one with mummy, one with daddy, and then several shots altogether. I love these family photographs of Mr G with his parents – they are truly beautiful and, I think, reflect connection between all members of the family really well.

I hope you will enjoy these lovely newborn and family photographs the way I do 🙂

Mr R at ESP Newborn Photography Studio

Hello

Today I’m going to share with you few newborn images of Mr R at my newborn photography studio in Derby.
Mr R, this little baby boy, was just 2 weeks old when I photographed him. As you can see from the photographs, he did sleep very well so I had a chance to try different poses and outfits.

Mr R’s mum and dad prefer light natural colours so we chose creme neutral backgrounds, fabrics and accessories. The only picture where I deviated from this is the one with Mr R in a brown-green ‘nest’. By choosing the combination of green and brown I wanted to reflect the autumn theme, the season when he was born. At the end of the shoot we also did few photographs with mum and family altogether. I love these family pictures showing connection between Mr R and his parents!

Look forward to photographing Mr R at his 6 months plus session in a few months!

Mr L by Newborn photography studio Derby

Hi everybody!

I’m pleased to present a new set of newborn images by my newborn photography studio in Derby. Today are the photos of Mr L, a handsome little boy who was born just 7 days before the session. I was especially glad to photograph him as I know his parents for long time now, since 2012 when I photographed their wedding. I also photographed his older brother, Mr E, 2 years ago.

Like his older brother, Mr L slept very well, giving me opportunity to capture his smiles and funny faces. Before the shoot we discussed the colour theme with his parents and they suggested to have green and blue, similar to the colours of his room. I chose combination of brown, green and blue out of my props.

Quite often I take pictures with parents; one of these is also in the list below.

I really enjoyed photographing Mr L, hope you will enjoy the pictures too 🙂

Twins Six Plus photos from Derby boutique baby photographer

About 9 months after their newborn photo shoot, I was glad to see little twins, Martin and Hazel, at my Derby studio again. Now, for a Six Plus boutique baby photography shoot.

These two very cute twins have grown since last shoot so that now they are able to sit on their own. Since the shoot was in December, the obvious theme we chose was a Christmas theme. Both Martin and Hazel enjoyed cuddling a Christmas teddy and play with little toys.

Since Martin and Hazel were in good mood, I also decided to dress them in elegant clothes: Martin – in a cap, bow tie and shorts, and Hazel, in head band and a dress. You can find from the pictures, that they both really enjoyed this photographic experience. Isn’t it great to see these smiles?

Cake Smash shoot from a Derby boutique baby photographer

The ‘Cake Smash’ shoot is a stylish boutique baby photo shoot of a 1 year old baby around his 1st birthday. The idea is for the baby to have fun by literally smashing a 1st Birthday Cake, to create mess and get lots of smiles and joy from making a mess. This is ‘what it is all about’ 🙂

So, I think, Maxim took the most of it during his Cake Smash shoot! He was quite amused about presence of the cake and lots of decorations around. The he was surprised that he is allowed to make a mess with the cake. Once he realised what it is about, he smashed the cake very quickly, I just needed to keep pressing the button to take pictures 🙂

The cake used in the shoot is a real cake ordered from a cake shop and styled to the shoot theme which was about sea and ships. It’s great subject for any boy, isn’t it?

Family photographer Derby – Claire, Rob and Elliott

A new set of family and Six Plus photographs taken in Derby.

Following a newborn photo shoot of Elliott, it was great to see Claire, Rob and little Elliott again for their family photo shoot. First, we had a few shots outside and then moved indoor to complete the photo session. The coming Christmas will be the first Christmas for Elliott so we’ve decided to create the festive atmosphere a bit earlier and made it a theme of this shoot 🙂

Newborn photographer Derby – photos of Daniel

At the beginning of the shoot, Daniel did not want to sleep at all. He was curious about things that were happening around him. After a little secret trick he went asleep and eventually let me take pictures that would remind to his parents and himself how little and cute he was. Here are few photos to share with you 🙂

Family photographer Derby – Jenny’s family

It was a lovely day out in Markeaton Park with Jenny and her family. I would like to note that Jenny prepared two great outfits for the shoot, not only for kids but also for both parents. It was a good decision to choose Markeaton Park – at the end of the shoot Bethany got very excited and forgot about everything for a while at the playground whilst Joshua had a nap.

At the beginning of the shoot Bethany was shy and careful with a ‘suspicious photographer’ but then we became friends so that she even allowed me to help her change her dress and hairpin 🙂 Joshua was great as well he gave lots of smiles to me 🙂

More 1st Birthday Photos of Maxim – boutique baby photographer Derby

The photos in this blog are from the 2nd photo session of Maxim’s First Birthday boutique baby shoot (see the previous shoot here).

This time my little model was even more cheerful. He has been fine almost whole section although at the end became a bit a rebellion. The theme I chose was in dark green ish colour, with a beautifully made woolen cap, shorts and a bow tie. Hope you’ll like the result, these boutique baby photos, as well as I do 🙂

First Birthday Photos of Maxim – boutique baby photographer Derby

At his previous newborn shoot and Six Plus shoot, Maxim was doing very well; that was easy to photograph him as he would lie or sit where you put him. And here we go, a boutique baby First Birthday shoot when he is much more mobile. How are going to photograph him?

Well, I must admit this shoot was a challenging one. At the age of one and a bit, Maxim would crawl pretty fast across the studio. However, having quite few new and unexplored yet toys, he got interested giving me opportunity to take a few shots.

I like the ‘retro’ style. For the shoot I git an old wooden train toy and a classical rocking horse. It looks like my little model enjoyed as well, you can tell it from his happy face and smile on the photographs below.
